A New Beginning
Hello, and welcome!
This humble wiki is an attempt to fork all Dungeons & Dragons content off of Wikipedia in order to preserve it. In the early days of Wikipedia, it was a freewheeling, open environment that encouraged people to add articles on any topic they wanted.
But over the years, many new policies were implemented in order to create more structure for the site. On of the most challenging policies is notability, which essentially requires all article topics to have independent coverage of them in so-called reliable sources. This has be devastating for niche topics, leading to the creation of many spcialized hobbist wikis over the last decade or so.
